Red Scarlet Footage Released

It looks like Red has posted some footage from Scarlet. It’s a locked off shot of Izzy the Iguana slowly moving his head and blinking, a simple one-light setup against a black background. On Reduser it’s been stated that the shot was captured on the 2/3″ Scarlet model, outfitted with a 100mm RED Pro prime at T/5.6. There’s not really a lot of information to glean from the clip, as it’s not a particularly challenging shot from a motion or latitude standpoint, and is very heavily compressed. But it is encouraging to see footage from the camera, and that so far it looks good to the eye and quite sharp. You can watch it here.
